Motivactr AB

The world’s first and only real presentation tool, online

Bad meetings and presentations cost Swedish organizations 17 billion € annually, in an area with a 50% development potential globally. We are proud to present Motivactr. Motivactr revolutionizes the way we meet and present. We introduce a scientifically based application that calibrates information to fit the audience. Motivactr guides you through the preparation, giving access to pedagogical templates created by education experts, unique content and allows for exporting to popular visual presentation programs. Finally, Motivactr’s feedback system lets you find out your audience’s opinion of your presentation. Motivactr also has a patent pending.

Investor proposal

We need ambassadors and hope you want to help us out. All investors will receive a license to use Motivactr for two years.

Product

The problem this product solves

In an average organization, we experience half of our meetings and presentations as meaningless which corresponds to a cost of 170 billion SEK annually for all organizations (or 75.000/person annually). Presentations are difficult to understand, which creates frustration and valuable working time is lost. Many people only think about what to say and not about how their message is received. There is a lack of knowledge about the audience and how to adapt to them. Our mission is to help our users systematically engage their audience more, as well as shorten the time from idea to action.

How the product solves it

Motivactr is an educational revolution! We will revolutionize the presentation and meeting industry by emphasizing messages and people. Today, there is a 50% development potential and an urgent need for improvement. Our goal is to solve the issue of information distribution inside and outside of organizations by reducing the number of meaningless meetings and presentations by up to 30%. We give our users well-deserved attention and executives confidence that important messages are received within their organization. Motivactr satisfies people's need to be seen, understood and that they are given deserved attention for their important ideas, information and thorough preparation.

Product features

Successful results are due to successful preparations. Motivactr allows its users to create meaningful and inspiring presentations based on the science of learning, which all successful communication is based on. Messages are formed and adapted in easy-to-use educational templates. Motivactr lets you brief your audience in advance and subsequently collect their feedback. We enable our users to create quality educational presentations tailored to their audience. Additionally, Motivactr can export to visual aid tools.

Product use cases

In current projects, in connection with SKL, Motivactr brings together knowledge and inspirational content from four regions and eight municipalities so that all involved can learn from each other and teach the best practice. A recurring issue is when messages fail to cascade from management through many executives, resulting in the fact that the final recipient receives incorrect or corrupt information. Motivactr brings the motivation and clarity that carries the information all the way to action. You avoid "the telephone game".

Market

Target Market

Anyone who wants themself or their organization to hold better presentations. Motivactr becomes the essential preparation tool, improving the presentation structure and content.

PowerPoint has 500 million users worldwide. Our goal is to become the preparatory platform that precedes the visual design that PowerPoint and other visual presentation tools allow.

Primarily Sweden's municipalities and county councils where we currently exist in six regions and nine municipalities. They carry important information and have the responsibility that it reaches Sweden’s citizens.

The pharmaceutical industry - Knowledge of medicine needs to be understood effectively.

Data Consultants - Explaining complex structures in an easy way.

Competitive landscape

The current presentation climate in organisations is focused on presenting with the support of visual content, which is also the main focus of the presentation tools currently on the market. The term “presentation tool” is dominated by these tools and can be seen as indirect competitors to Motivactr. There is a high potential for ROI since there are no direct competitors; there is no other preparatory presentation tool that focuses on the pedagogical structure and presentation content quality.

To some extent we compete with lecturers and coaches in presentation techniques, but we see ourselves much more as a complementing tool.

Unique differentiator from competitors

Motivactr is used to create motivation, clarity and meaning when communicating important messages. It is a tool that takes care of the entire presentational process, from pedagogical preparation, finding relevant content to exporting to visual aids. We have a patent pending for measuring the effect of a presentation.

Company revenue streams

Individual Licenses: 240 SEK monthly

Retailers who reach customers with a pronounced need, e.g. event agencies and advertising agencies.

Fronto iCommunication produces internal films

PresentationsAkuten - a joint venture formed by some of Sweden’s most sought after public speakers - developed by Motivactr, is another way for us to meet people with needs in connection to presentation sessions.

Return on Investment

Our goal is to give return on investment within 3-5 years. Potentially, one long-term goal is to be acquired by a large organization, such as Google, Apple, Amazon or any other organization with interest in the meeting and presentation business. We expect to have a turnover of 200,000,000 SEK in 3 to 5 years.

Risk Analysis

The risk of any major company copying us is doubtful since they are far behind and risk legal action due to patent infringement. Customers may require a higher pace delivery and support than we have resources to deliver. Slow decision-making in the public sector is a hurdle, but we seem to be past the tipping point. In case of another recession the public sector and the pharmaceutical industry are hedged bets. We want to scale up and be able to focus more on sales to traditional industries as well where time to trial or order is faster.
