The problem this product solves
Consumption has reached peak levels and how we consume cars is no exception; the second you buy a car the value starts decreasing and before you know it, a new model is released. It’s an costly purchase both on your wallet and the environment and once the car has served its purpose, it hits the scrap pile. There is no way to upgrade a car, the size is not optimised for city life and the reliance on petrol and diesel fuels make it costly as well as environmentally damaging for everyone.
How the product solves it
The Nobe 100 is a three-wheeled, neo-designed, light electric vehicle. We are redefining the way we explore cities by wheels. For the first time ever; a car whose features and technology is designed to be upgraded piece by piece to last a lifetime and more. When you are ready to upgrade, we replace and recycle enhancing the vehicle longevity. With its classic, sleek retro design and despite its compact size The Nobe accommodates three people and has plenty of storage. Designed for city life and exploring, the Nobe is easy to park and the maximum speed is 110 km/h.
The Nobe 100 has a three-wheel all wheel drive system, the combined range of the battery is 220 km and there is an additional, portable battery. The composite lightweight body and the minimalistic design seats three people and achieves a top speed of 110kmh. The classic design of the Nobe continues in the interior, it also has a convertible hardtop making it the first cabriolet EV. It's set to be autonomous and top class technology – identifying you when you approach your car, unlocking and opening the doors, setting your preferred temperature and playing your favourite song amongst other things.
Product use cases
There are almost 5 000 000 cars in Sweden today, for many people it's crucial, for some it's just nice to have. Either way, cars are putting a heavy load on our environment making our cities and the air we breathe polluted. Nobe is changing that. We have designed the Nobe to be used both in cities and on highways in a cost effective way for the owner running on electricity. A way for us all to keep exploring life, in a convenient, stylish and sustainable way.

Our target market for the Nobe is global. We believe that every city would benefit from having more electric, smart and stylish vehicles for their citizens, creating a cleaner environment for all. But a Nobe car is more than just a electric vehicle. It runs on electricity, and did we mention that every part of a Nobe is upgradable so that the car can last beyond a lifetime and that all parts can be recycled at the Nobe production site? You are welcome.
There are some vehicles and manufacturers we could consider competition, but we truly support all suppliers with an equal mission to get electric vehicles on our roads. Together we really can make a difference. Those who we support include: Uniti Sweden, Arcimoto US, SONDORS EV US, Morgan 3 Wheeler UK, Electric Mini Cooper, Electric Isetta.
Unique differentiator from competitors
The Nobe is unique in many ways. The most impressive thing is that Nobe is the first electric three wheeler offering all parts to be upgraded, and all parts are recyclable when they’ve served their purpose. For Nobe owners, if you´ve used your Nobe for five years, you can choose to upgrade the digital skin, renew the driving system to the newer version with more features or even change the interior design. The old parts will be recycled by Nobe and you don't have to invest in a brand new car to get the newest technique and driving experience.
Company revenue streams
Our source of income will be from both private customers looking to get their own Nobe, global dealers, resellers as well as coming car sharing services, car rental offices and hotel chains that want to offer their guests easy access to experience and explore the city. The different products we sell are of course the vehicles in full, updates of parts of the vehicle, licenses for branding accessories and some add-ons in the coming Nobe application.
When we start our production we will implement sales directly from our website purchases, whilst also offering a showroom in the factory in Tallinn as well as organising pop-up showrooms in different locations for easy access to potential clients. We will also offer our Nobe cars through worldwide dealers and home electronic stores (yes, it is that neat!).
- August 2017: Design finalized
- September 2017: Jason Torchinski praised Nobe on the home page of well known automotive site www.jalopnik.com
- January 2018: Life size model completed
- Two people have made a €10 000 pre order payment each
Next key objectives
With the power of the crowd we will have the first Nobe produced in October 2018 and we will manage to kick-start our running production and sales of Nobe in 19 months from June 2018. We will participate in the Paris Car Show in October 2018 with our first ever produced Nobe.
Nobe is company taking both an environmental responsibility as well as a social one, we are fully committed to never changing that. We want to make sure Nobe is being produced locally in cities to offer both jobs and minimize the transportation of cars to the end users.
We have not until now brought in any external capital in to the business. Everything we´ve created so far is funded by the owners. Now, when we are about to “press play”, we want the power of the crowd!
Use of funds
If we reach the minimum goal amount it will result in a drivable frame ready by October 2018.
If we reach the maximal goal amount we will, in addition to the drivable frame mentioned above, invest the funds in further development, production and promotion of the car and brand to be ready to have the first 2-3 cars ready by October 2019. If we do reach the maximum level of investments we would be ready for a large-scale production in 2020.
Shares will be purchased back by the company.
Few charging stations. We hope that the government will provide more charging stations all over Sweden and beyond to make more electric vehicles possible. In the meantime, what we are currently building is a Nobe community where anyone can become a Nobe Charging Partner. With a four hour charging time, it could be a café, a hotel or a Nobe fan offering the charging station at the same time you actually are having a nice time. The other thing we have to cross is the funding to get the production running smoothly – which is why we are now crowdfunding.
