With a market value of $6 trillion, our target market represents one of the biggest markets in the world, twice the size of the car industry. The digital portion of the market is estimated to be worth €250 billion by 2020 with 17% annual growth, while the mobile part ($40 billion) has an even steeper growthrate.
Thanks to our PoC (DMP) AIAR already exists in 165 countries today. Our main market is Asia with exceptional downloads, followed by expoloding interest from Latin-America and Anglo-Saxon markets.
Who are the competitors? In AIAR's case the answer is that there is none. The AIAR's digital ecosystem of learning is indeed completely unique.
What does exist, are substitutes; both offline and online. What though characterizes the offline alternatives in our Asian target markets, is that they are costly; both in terms of money and time, and in a competitive landscape which requires life-long learning, even the digital alternatives are costly.
But above all, the alternatives haven't even started the innovative deep-tech development for personalized learning, and making it motivating and secure. Here AIAR is totally unique!

AIAR provides a global standard for lifelong learning, an extremely intuitive interface, and functions that are generic and simple to learn regardless of which subject is approached. However, what truly makes AIAR unique is:

Company revenue streams
AIAR uses a freemium model, the most efficient business model for mobile applications. Simply put, we give away part of content to create interest, loyalty and engaged ambassadors.
The revenue streams come from premium solutions such as online coaching, matchmaking between private teachers/students, but above all - the certification.
It all boils down to volumes. The market will be dominated by 1-2 players, and we will be one of them. With 200 million users 2020 with €5 LTV, we reach a turnover of €1 billion. With 1 billion users 2022 with €15 LTV, we reach a turnover of €15 billion.
AIAR has deep knowledge of optimizing the traffic of the largest app-distribution channels: App Store and Google Play. Our first application (DMP) has in record time reached the top position for search within its category.
After just a few months we surpassed all giants such as LinkedIn, Coursera and even Google, in all giant markets such as India, USA and Brazil, etc.
During 2017 AIAR launched the first version of the application (DMP). The board of directors set the target to 10 000 downloads.
Within three months we had surpassed that goal and reached 100 000 downloads on App Store and Google Play.
Today AIAR exists through this initial Proof of Concept (DMP) in 165 countries and we are already the second most downloaded app within the category. We're equally proud not only to be the second most downloaded app but also the most loved in the world - rated highest within the category with 4,7 out of 5 on the reviews.
Next key objectives
The business model is all about volumes. According to the prognosis, with our digital ecosystem, an intensified marketing strategy, together with a fullstack of courses implemented - we expect to reach 200 million users by 2020 and 1 billion users by 2022. The strategy and goals/quarter:
- Q1 2018, securing the AI-technology and its positive effect on learning
- Q3 securing the utility coins, blockchain technology and the GDS operates seamlessly.
- Both parts will be tested based on data from 0,5-1 million users
- At the end of 2018 we'll head towards 10 million users, getting ready to take over the world 2019
Until today AIAR's financing has been done through seedfunding. The latest investment of €350 000 was acquired late 2017, raising the total to €910 000.
Use of funds
AIAR is seeking funding to leverage the development of the three prime building blocks for The AIAR® Ecosystem of Learning, including AI for personalized learning content, the AIAR Utilitly tokens for lifelong learning, and bulletproof interfaces and blockchain-secured certifications. The approximate distribution of costs is as indicated below:
- 30 % Tech development
- 20 % Marketing
- 50 % Other operational costs
Operational costs, apart from existing organization, mostly consist of technology development, where the largest portion will go to expanding the inhouse tech team.
Fast exit is possible and in theory an IPO is doable in 2020. Still, the existing founders are determined to actually conquer the global position and not only dominate the mobile market for learning and education, but also revolutionize the entire education industry. On the way to that global conquest, there will be exit opportunities when selling off parts of the venture in order to continue with fast-paced expansion and processing the market continuously on the way to the top.
Like most companies, our risks are financial and operational. Just like any other start-up there's a need for capital in order to grow. AIAR's business model has already attracted several funders, thanks to the unique properties of the learning ecosystem. Moreover, there's always a certain risk in relation to entering a market with a totally new service or product. However, AIAR's initial Proof of Concept has, through the data collected, shown that the interest is huge for this specific solution.
