Help a young historian write a book

The new book requires funding for research journeys to France - archive documents, England to track down the original factory drawings, Germany at the Daimler-Benz and Porsche archives, and Russia.

I am a young historian and model maker from Bucharest, Romania, specialized in military technology of the first half of the Twentieth century. Fluently speaking English and French, also know German, Italian and rudiments of Russian. I have answered the urge of members of the international modelling community to write the ultimate book on the Typ 205 Maus, Ferdinand Porsche's brainchild, the heaviest tank in the world. Funding is necessary for research trips to England, France, Germany and Russia.

The subject, the heaviest tank of all time (188 tons), with its hybrid propulsion was an engineering triumph, had an armor that made it immune to the anti-tank weapons of the day and was capable of destroying all of its adversaries at extreme ranges (3 to 5 km) To this day it still is surrounded by myth and rumor, with only a handful of published works. Questions like "How many were actually completed? Has it actually fought? Is there another in Russia besides the one in Kubinka?" are yet to be answered. My book, to be written and published in English, aims to shed light on this significant piece of technology. It shall be published at a major publishing house.

The book is to be published in one to two years after the research is completed.
